Hello, I am Mark Priest, and this is my personal website and blog.

I am a software engineer, a creative nonfiction writing enthusiast, and a curious and generally wacky person who loves to read and tell great stories. I adopted the busyspin name because it represents an often-maligned software engineering technique, which amuses me, and also because it resonates with me as a neurodivergent person who often spins off in unplanned direction, for better or worse.
